From measurements to the sky
Students worked in teams to measure, design and build their own kites, turning mathematical ideas into something they could create with their hands.
After building their designs, students tested their kites at school, observed how they performed and made adjustments when needed.
The experience then continued beyond the classroom, as students took their kites home and flew them with their families.
